WWF-UK is the British arm of the World Wide Fund for Nature, one of the world’s largest independent conservation organisations, headquartered in Woking, England. The global WWF network was founded in 1961 and operates in around 100 countries. Its mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment, focusing on climate, wildlife, forests, oceans and freshwater.
