Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS) is Switzerland’s national railway company, headquartered in Bern, operating the country’s passenger and freight rail network as well as real-estate and energy assets. Founded in 1902, it is a federally owned enterprise central to Swiss mobility, running low-carbon rail powered largely by hydroelectricity.
